No Deal Big F*cking Deal

It’s an entire week removed from a phenomenal show at BB King that I cannot forget, in the words of Joe Budden paraphrased of course ‘It wasn’t a rap concert it was THERAPY.’ That therapy session definitely started with his 3 rap openers AG Da Coroner, Bigg Dogg and Passport Gift. Each opener on the bill did a great job with the New York fans Hip Hop.
But none did quite the job that Passport Gift did, who had Parks known better as Parks on the Board from his numerous Joe Budden shout outs. Parks is quite the staple to any Joe Budden fan, let alone a NYC fan that are more diehard than any others. I would have to guess being somewhat of a hometown hero with a line-stretching pass the Regal movie theater on 42nd street would only prove it.    As Parks stepped on the stage he was welcomed to great cheers as he set up for his part of the show with Passport Gift the supporters were eager as all hell watching him. Unbeknownst to sea of the diehard Joe supporter that (would never need a reason to go to see him at a show in New York even if it is his last show ever or if it’s a curtain call to a certain stage of his career as an entertainer,) Parks was first hitting the stage with Passport Gift giving them a therapeutic show of his own.
Passport Gift x Parks delivered a set of ferocious storytelling lyrics backed by some soulful beats with a different level of intensity than any of the other opening acts and the crowd loved the electricity, they gave Passport Gift the same energy that he gave the crowd that night at BB Kings. Gift even shouted out his mom who was in the building to see him perform in her favorite venue and the crowd ate it all up as they sent aws and cheers throughout the building as they watched along with a proud mom seeing her son doing what he loves. Hip Hop.
All this happened not even a full day after ending his short but impressionable touring tenure with Royce Da 5’9” on his Layer Tour, dates below when and where you may have seen him with Royce.

Trailer: Black Mass

Black Mass is the drugs, death and betrayal book of the same name by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill about the head of the Irish Mob Whitey Bulger. Whitey Bulger is played by Johnny Depp, below you can see the trailer in which he has gone through a major transformation. Johnny Depp is nearly unrecognizable in the Scott Cooper directed film, in the trailer below you can see the heaviness of the crime story as Johnny Depp picks at the patience of the host of a dinner party with some very scathing and terrifying words. Under the trailer are some pictures of Depp in make up for the film.
